Around the World in 80 Days
Around the World in 80 Days (Original title)
With this action comedy, Görlitz started its Hollywood career, and right away, the city could represent the big metropolises of the world: The Untermarkt turned into Paris in the 18th century, the Landskron Brewery became New York Harbour. A few requisites and signs still remind us of the shooting. And actor Jackie Chan fascinated the inhabitants of Görlitz and gladly posed for photographs.
