Nature research has a long tradition in Görlitz. Scientists here have been investigating the biodiversity, systematics and ecology of animals and plants as well as geological issues for over 200 years. Project: Bauen 4.0 – Research for the Future of Building

A technology park is to be set up in Görlitz, which will test and further develop pioneering ideas from the field of construction – such as digital networking in construction – on real machines, converting them into marketable products. Engineers from the TU Dresden work with more than 20 partners to develop machine and communication technologies for a fully networked construction site.
